Kiera in lolita

...I finished this weeks before the August 30th opening of the secret santa folder.

Anyway, this is my secret santa gift to . They requested Kiera in lolita. This marks the first time I've ever drawn the lolita fashion. I had to look up a number of pictures to get an idea of what to draw, and I discovered that there are multiple lolita genres!

So the process for this is that I referred to multiple pictures for inspiration as to how to create Kiera's new outfit. One thing I did was pull the colors straight off of Kiera's normal outfit, and use them with the new outfit. I tried to color in sections of the outfit so it would be a nod to Kiera's usual outfit.

I also tried to follow Bob Rafei's style to make it look 100% Jak style.

Time it took to finish: more hours than I remember.

Done 100% in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro.
